This simple but savoury menu is perfect for cool autumn evenings. It begins with a sparkling spinach salad which can be made in the morning. The substantial and savoury beancurd dish may also be prepared in advance: it re-heats well and is perfect over steamed long-grain rice. After all these nutritious foods, I like to indulge in crispy Sweet Wontons, which can also be made ahead of time. Serve them with Western vanilla ice cream โ€” the best of East and West!
