  • About

Tempeh is made from fermented soybeans and is low in FODMAPs because of how it’s processed. As long as it doesn’t contain added high-FODMAP seasonings and portions are reasonably sized, tempeh should be well tolerated by most people with IBS. Note that some tempeh contains wheat (usually in the form of soy sauce) or barley, so if you have celiac disease, gluten intolerance, or wheat allergy, be sure to read the product label carefully.
