  • About
The wonderful spice that is cumin is used all over the world in so many different ways, from flavouring cheese to making curries – everyone loves it. This is because cumin has such a lovely earthy flavour, and the little ridged seeds are full of essential oils that give it a pungent aroma that always takes me back to the Media of Fez every time.
When you cook with cumin you either use it whole or ground. The seeds are generally added to hot oil at the start of the cooking process, adding a nutty flavour to the finished dish. Ground cumin can be used in loads of different ways and is an essential ingredient in most curry powders.
