  • About

I’ve always exclusively used wild blueberries in my pies because of their amazingly concentrated flavor. I knew that one day—since I like to know where my ingredients come from—I’d be compelled to visit their place of origin. One August I did just that, visiting Ruth Fiske and Nicolas Lindholm at their farm in the Blue Hill Peninsula on the coast of Maine. (I initially discovered this small farm when searching for independent wild blueberry wholesalers. Because of the small scale of their business, they cannot wholesale, but they were happy to have me visit!)
