  • About

Tucked away on 1st Avenue, the white frontage of El Rancho de Lalo is a real landmark in Brixton Village. Always busy and bustling, it’s like going inside a Spanish-Colombian home to eat. Proprietors Carlos Zuluaga and Andres Quintero and their families are found behind the counter producing enormous plates of Colombian food in a welcoming environment.

Always popular with Brixton’s growing South American community, El Rancho de Lalo provides familiar tastes, sounds and newspapers for those who have moved here. Mixed in with the Spanish speakers are other Brixton locals who have a big appetite and know that El Rancho de Lalo is an excellent place to satisfy it.
