  • About

When Nick Coates and George Wallace left their jobs in the City, they wanted to bring real Kiwi coffee culture to Brixton, so they opened Federation in a small unit on 2nd Avenue in the Village in 2010. An early success story, they have since moved to a larger corner unit on the end of 5th Avenue and there are still queues out of the door on a Saturday morning. They also have a small hatch at the Piano House in central Brixton, making them the only Brixton Village business to have another branch in the area.
