Happy to talk you through the best ways to prepare certain cuts of meat, the staff at Horwoods are like the Brixton version of the jolly butchers from children’s books. The meat is excellent quality and, if you’re unsure what to go for, you’ll often get tips and encouragement from the other customers who know their meat almost as well as those on the other side of the counter.
