  • About
The rutabaga is slightly more nutrient rich than its sister, the turnip. It is relatively low in calories, with only 36 calories in a 3½-ounce/100-gram serving, but high in carbohydrates. Deeply colored rutabagas are an excellent source of minerals and nutrients, including vitamin C, potassium, iron, fiber, and folate.
