  • About
Allspice is actually a berry, and when cultivated as an oil, it has been known to lift the spirit and increase one’s self-confidence. These effects are thought to be especially prevalent when allspice is added to tea.
Throughout history, allspice has been used as a medication for pain management. Relief of toothache and inflammation in the body are among some of its benefits.
The healing effects of allspice were first observed when the berry was added to bath water, which would bring about temporary pain relief. It would also induce a mild anaesthetic effect on the bather.
