March

March signifies a revival. Small leaves sprout from bare branches, and in the early morning, if you listen carefully, you can hear the birds chirp. Don’t let the gentle weather fool you though, as one day it may snow, the next day thunder, and the day after, everyone is outside with no coats, as if it were summer. This is spring. A part of me feels nostalgic: I cherish the winter months when the landscape is painted white, the snow like glitter, and the hats, blankets, and scarves that accompany them. But I can’t seem to get enough of the spring sun, which feels like nourishment to me.
