To make the ‘tree’

  • About
Secure a small glass which will hold the twigs in a flower-pot full of earth or sand. Any branch which is just beginning to sprout green leaves can be used, catkins, forsythia or flowering cherry. Fill the glass with water and secure the twigs. To decorate the branches, tie yellow, orange and turquoise ribbons or small bunches of coloured feathers onto the branches (white chicken feathers can be dyed yellow, orange and turquoise with fabric dyes). Decorate with blown, decorated eggs tied on with ribbon or wool. Sit fluffy yellow chickens on the branches. Make your own style with original creations.
