Meera was born in Lincolnshire to Ugandan Asian parents and has been surrounded by a wonderful assortment of all things delicious from a very early age. Cooking is a huge part of Meera’s heritage and her love for her ancestors’ food and desire to keep their food traditions alive led Meera to journey back to her mother’s kitchen to capture the recipes from her childhood.
Meera loves cooking and eating and cooks voraciously for herself, for friends and at Gymkhana, where she is an occasional chef.
