    • About

this recipe is a Lithuanian variation on one of my favourite childhood dishes, racuchy ze śliwkami, or drop scones with plums. Made with dried prunes, the drop scones take on an entirely different flavour and appearance, and I can never resist serving them with grated dark chocolate — what an indulgence! If you are serving these for brunch, you can make them in advance and keep them warm in a low oven for up to an hour (don’t leave them in there any longer, though, lest they dry out)
