Readers have long been asking me for my version of the chocolate chip cookie, but I always wondered how I could possibly improve on this classic. After much thought, finally I did indeed find a way.

I have to own up to taking some short-cuts but these were good. Any repeat will be tweaked a bit, maybe a very light touch of a warming spice and I’d make them a little sweeter (and maybe I'll follow the instructions more assiduously!)
