Here is our version of an espresso martini. It’s sweet and lively and definitely one to knock up after a long and lazy brunch: think Terry’s chocolate orange meets the Eastern Med in an espresso martini.
Start with the orange syrup to allow time to let it cool down. Peel your oranges – it doesn’t matter about the pith so just peel them with your fingers. Take a saucepan and bring 240ml water to the boil. Add the sugar and stir until dissolved, then add the orange peel and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and leave the syrup to sit for 10 minutes, then strain it to remove the peel. Pop
