Wreathe loaf with spiced crab apples when you take it to a party

Ingredients

  • lbs. ground smoked ham
  • ½ lb. ground fresh pork
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. bread cubes (2 slices)
  • 1 tblsp. dry mustard
  • ½ c. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • ¼ c. vinegar
  • 2 tblsp. water

Method

  • Combine meat, milk and bread cubes. Mix lightly; form into loaf; place in shallow baking pan.
  • Combine remaining ingredients for sauce; pour over meat.
  • Bake in moderate oven (375°) 1½ hours, basting often with sauce in pan.
