Forget about baking, these mini naturally-sweet snacks have all the flavour of red velvet cake but can be made in just a few minutes.


  • 110 g/4 oz/5 Medjool dates, stoned (pitted)

  1. Add the dates, oats, hemp seeds and desiccated coconut to a food processor and blitz until finely chopped.
  2. Add the grated beetroot, cacao powder, cashew nut butter and coconut oil then spoon in the almond milk and blitz together until smooth and beginning to clump together.
  3. Squeeze into a ball, remove from the food processor and cut into 20 pieces. Ro
