I was brought up on homemade sourdough breads. In Sweden, we are very keen on sourdough breads and even commercial breads found in the big supermarkets are often made from sourdough starter rather than yeast. I have avoided wheat and gluten for almost 20 years; however, I have discovered that I now can eat gluten without my digestive system going crazy so nowadays I love to eat sourdough bread.
