  • 3 level teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ lev

Method

Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a mixing bowl. Rub softened butter into mixture with pastry blender or your fingers; then add milk, stirring mixture quickly, until you have a soft but not sticky dough.

Knead dough with floured fingertips on a lightly-floured board just enough to shape it into a smooth ball; roll or pat out lightly to ½
