  • About

Ingredients

  • 6 oz plain flour
  • 2 oz slightly salted butter
  • 2 oz

Method

Sieve the flour and salt into a mixing bowl. Chop the butter and fat into small pieces in the flour. Add the sugar and rub it all together very lightly with your finger tips until it is integrated. Blend in the egg yolk, using a knife, and then add just a few drops of water to make it the consistency of soft, light marzipan. Leave it in a cool place wrapped in greaseproof paper, cloth, or polyt
