Spicy Plum Sauce

  • 1 kg plums, de-stoned and roughly chopped
  • 2 cups (320 g) soft brown sugar


Place all of the ingredients into a large heavy based saucepan and bring to the boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to a simmer for 30 minutes.

Blend with a stick blender to a smooth consistency. Taste and season if needed. Pour the sauce into sterilised bottles (for bottling tips) and seal.
