Greek Orange and Olive Salad


  • 3-4 ripe oranges
  • 10-12 large black olives
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
  • ¼ pint well-flavoured French dressing
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper


Peel and thinly slice oranges crosswise. Cut slices into quarters. Pit and slice olives. Combine in a salad bowl with finely chopped onion and French Dressing. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper, and toss before serving.
