I commend these to vegetarians and vegans (and indeed to everyone) as a lunch or supper dish. They go well with a green salad. They are also nice as appetizers with a drink before you sit down to dinner, though they are quite filling. Mooli/white radishes are often rather large, but you should be able to find smaller ones weighing, say, a pound or half a kilo. Mooli/white radishes, incidentally, are also eaten raw in salads.
