Best ever. I went for 150g 70% chocolate. The dough was pretty robust so I slightly squashed the balls (about 35gm each). This recipe is a keeper!

Yes Matt! I really liked this cookie. I ate it warm with ice cream, on a pleasant afternoon in São Paulo with a friend. :)

Lovely recipe, everyone loved it! I added 2 to 3 more tablespoons of butter because the dough came out dry for me.

My daughter is a bit of a chocolate chip cookie guru. She made these and they were even better than her usual recipe. Impossible to eat just one!

I don't normally bake biscuits but I was tempted by this recipe, full of indulgent things. It didn't turn out as I expected as the dough was quite stiff and so didn't spread, but maybe that's what a "cookie" is supposed to be. So, I was a bit disappointed to start with, but they were were very good to eat, and friends who came for tea had second helpings. I decided that 150-200 gms of chocolate was too much and so just used 100 gms. But best to cut your chocolate into small pieces, as otherwise they stick out of the dough and melt on your fingers!
