If I had to select one dessert as the symbol of fall, it would be this one. The scent of apples baking with cinnamon and nutmeg wafting through the kitchen is undeniably uplifting and comforting. When I was younger, I attended an apple pie-making workshop at school, led by one of the American teachers on UN Day, a multicultural event to celebrate the various countries that people were from. There is something very comforting about making a pie. It is time-consuming, but an incredibly therap
