Where we live in the Chiltern Hills, we are surrounded by fields and pastures. I appreciate my surroundings more every day and feel lucky to be amongst them. From my window I can follow the seasons, from the changes of the wind as it travels through the barley like ocean waves, to the different smells, to the sound of the young lambs during the lambing season. Even the sudden jump of a deer when sensing my presence as I walk through the high grass in the early morning.
