  • About
A ‘proper breakfast’ as generally perceived is actually a sizeable meal which you happen to eat in the morning. Frequently it is a huge fry-up loaded with cholesterol so I suspect those who partake daily are on course for heart trouble.
The majority of us do not have time on a working day to eat grapefruit followed by cereal, followed by kippers or sausage, bacon and egg, followed by toast and marmalade, never mind prepare and cook all this stuff. But on a day off or holiday, especially if you intend to skip lunch, an English breakfast is a treat, worthy of some effort.
