Some of these snacks make delicious nibbles that can be handed around during a cocktail party or served as an appetiser with drinks before sitting down to the main course. They can also be served quite comfortably as a first course with a salad from the Salads chapter. All of these dishes are very simple, easy to prepare and full of flavour.

Each recipe in this chapter will make enough appetisers for six people, or a more substantial entrée for four.
