How to eat Willisauer Ringli
Willisauer Ringli remain a popular treat all over Switzerland...to the great pleasure of dentists. There are numerous jokes and anecdotes about people damaging their teeth on the very hard biscuits.
People in the know suggest breaking them up beforehand, and here’s how to do it:
  1. Place the cookie in the palm of your hand.
  2. Press your opposite elbow into the hole in the cookie.
  3. It should break into three or four pieces.
  4. One by one, let the pieces dissolve on your tongue.
