By November, the days are growing shorter and colder and winter holidays are in the air. The occasional snowfall might be a welcome surprise. I love November firstly because it happens to be my birthday month, and it also means that December and the festivities the end of the year brings are just around the corner.
The range of recipes I have selected for November pay tribute to celebratory comfort food. Each dessert is bold, brilliant, and carries a certain warmth fitting for the season.

Mini Banana Cakes with Salted Caramel and Pecans provide a beautiful blend of sweet, salty, crunchy, and gooey. I can only describe it as seductive and warn you that anyone who tries it will be enchanted. If you celebrate Thanksgiving or just love pumpkin, give the Pumpkin Cheesecake a try—it is a brilliant combination of warm spices and a lush, creamy cheesecake, fit for festive gatherings. If you’re in the mood for a dark, sumptuous chocolate dessert, the Silky Chocolate Pie recipe is the perfect choice: a velvety chocolate pudding encased in a dark chocolate cookie crust. Finally, the Pear Tarte Tatin, a French wonder, brings a medley of flavors using very few ingredients. It is pure gold, literally and figuratively.
