Chocolate & Spice

Appears in
A Whisper of Cardamom

  • About
If there is a food of love, it is surely chocolate. The sensual melt that happens just at the temperature of the human body might have secured chocolate its place as a Valentine gift, or perhaps it was because it has been shown to raise pulses more than a passionate kiss. Cocoa releases a rush of serotonin that induces happiness and contains phenylethylamine, one of the chemicals your brain produces when you fall in love.
Chocolate’s relationship with love has always been there, but its flirtation with sugar is a much newer one.
