  • About
I spend the majority of my trips home eating and hanging out with family, but every now and then I get asked about the must-see spots around town (and the must-eat dishes). The problem is that Xi’an has a long history—it was the home of thirteen dynasties. There are countless historical sites to visit, and, as for the restaurants, well, places change as soon as you book a flight.

For those with limited time, though, these are eight spots that you should prioritize. You’ll get a glimpse of the old city and the new city and eat many, many bowls of noodles.
