Johnathan L. Wright is the food and drink editor of RGJ Media, a Gannett company. His responsibilities encompass RGJ.com, the Reno Gazette-Journal newspaper, Reno Magazine, and RGJTaste branded social media (where he has nearly 22,000 followers on Twitter). Besides his home group, Johnathan’s work has appeared in publications like USA Today, the Chicago Sun-Times and Food Network Magazine.
Johnathan also has been a correspondent for Forbes Travel Guide and a West region panelist for the James Beard Foundation Awards. The RGJ’s Food & Drink section has been nominated for a James Beard Award, and Johnathan has won several Association of Food Journalist Awards. He is a native of Honolulu and a graduate of Yale University and the University of Nevada.
