Heat the milk, water and butter together, stirring until the butter has melted. Allow to cool to 23°C.

Combine the flour, yeast, sugar and salt in a stand mixer with the dough hook attachment. Mix on a medium speed, slowly adding the cooled milk mixture. Once the liquid is added, increase the speed and mix for 5 minutes more until a firm elastic dough is formed.
