  1. To make the praline, put the almonds in a hot frying pan over medium heat and dry-fry until well browned. Remove the almonds from the pan and set aside. Melt the sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until golden, without stirring. Take the pan off the heat and immediately stir in the almonds.
