  • 1 cup butter
  • cup sugar
  • 1 egg

Method

  1. Cream together the butter and sugar. Beat in the egg. Add the vanilla. Combine the flour and salt, and stir into the creamed mixture.

  2. Wrap the dough in aluminum foil and chill for three to four hours.

  3. Preheat oven to moderate (350°F.)
