  • 1 egg
  • salt

Method

Sieve the flour with a pinch of salt into a bowl, and make a well in the centre. Separate the egg and keep the white aside. Mix the yolk carefully with the flour, blending well with a wooden spoon. Add the oil and then the milk, a little at a time, drawing in the flour gradually. When you have a thick, smooth, creamy batter stop adding milk and beat the mixture well.
