I was once asked if I could recall something I tasted for the first time after I moved to the United States. It’s Brussels sprouts. I can’t recollect the exact dish and how it was cooked, but I remember they reminded me of strange Lilliputian cabbages. Brussels sprouts are spectacular when shaved into shreds for a salad or roasted. Because some folks, especially my husband, love a bit more dressing or sauce with everything they eat, this recipe makes a little more to give you that option.</
