A good dose of black pepper gives these granola bars a little warmth. I sometimes crush these granola bars and sprinkle them over scoops of ice cream or roasted fruit (such as Roasted Fruit with Coffee Miso Tahini).

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil, plus extra to grease the pan and your hands
  • 2 cups [200 g] old-fash

Method

Preheat the oven to 325°F [163°C]. Grease an 8 by 8 by 2 in [20 by 20 by 5 cm] baking pan with a little olive oil and line with parchment paper.
