Pasta and seafood are a marriage made in heaven. Just think of eating a dish of spaghetti with clams or with scallops and you really are in heaven, especially if you are eating it by the sea on the Zattere in Venice or at Santa Lucia in Naples.

Some of these recipes are for typical Italian first courses, while others are quite substantial dishes โ€“ spaghetti with squid and pesto or ziti with haddock, for example, are more of a one-dish meal.
