Tacos and the El Loco Story

  • About
I never thought I’d open a Mexican restaurant (or even a vaguely Mexican restaurant), but that’s what happens when you work with someone like Justin Hemmes. His ideas are often larger than most people can get their heads around, but his knack for predicting what will work continues to challenge me (in a good way). In the midst of the craziness that was opening Ms G’s (22 days straight on practically zero sleep), Justin sat me down and said, ‘I just bought this pub in Surry Hills and I want to open a Mexican place there. I want you to run it.’
