Nobody can teach you how to make the perfect cup of tea. It just happens, over time.

Wearing cashmere helps, of course.

As does ignoring the old maxim of one for each person and one for the pot, which is too strong for a fine quality leaf.
Fresh water is vital: collect rain water for your tea, and taste the difference.
Try blending your own tea from different leaves, and serving them at different times of the day.
And please, do not automatically offer Earl Grey. There are far too many of us who hate it.
