  • About

One thing the Indians and British have in common is that we both have a very sweet tooth. And although it could get me into trouble, I think many Indian desserts are rather too sweet. Consequently, the recipes included here are my favourites either because they take me back to my childhood or because they’re not overpoweringly sugary.

Generally, desserts are not made every day in Indian households. They tend to be served mainly on special occasions such as weddings, religious festivals or for entertaining guests. Personally I think you should eat them as the mood takes you.
