  • About

I bought all the chef Gear, Because obviously I didn’t have work clothes

“Neil Pass said that if I was really adamant about training, Westminster College was the best, the only one worth going to.”

I remember turning up there, going into the changing room and getting dressed in all this stuff I’d never worn before. I had checked trousers, a white jacket and this tourniquet thing you have to wear. I had no fucking idea what that was for. So in good 80s drumming tradition I rolled it up, and tied it round my head as a headband. I got screamed and shouted at, going into class. But we did a little bit of cooking and I got put into a reasonably good group. The teacher was one of the better ones, Kevin Selwood. I was doing all right, for one day a week I was quite enjoying it.
