12 Ways with Tangerines

One of a group of citrus known as mandarins, these small fruits are often associated with celebrations. In Asia they are given as gifts to bring good luck, good fortune and happiness. In the west they are synonymous with Christmas time. They are often eaten fresh, but the soft fruit, juice and peel make a sweet fragrant addition to many dishes.
