Bonnie S. Benwick is The Washington Post Food's deputy editor and recipe editor. She writes weekly columns for the section and for The Post Magazine. In 2013, she edited the newspaper's first cookbook, "The Washington Post Cookbook: Readers' Favorite Recipes" (Time Capsule Press). Most recently, she won awards from the Association of Food Journalists for feature writing and visual design. She is a member of Les Dames d’Escoffier.
