Jonah Straus is the founder and principal of Straus Literary, a boutique agency founded in 2005 handling literary fiction, journalism and history, and original works on food and drink. The agency is based in San Francisco with an office in New York. Jonah has over 15 years prior experience in sales, marketing, production, and editorial for publishers and distributors on the West Coast. Among his culinary projects are the NY times bestseller and James Beard winner Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams at Home (Artisan), Death & Co: Modern Classic Cocktails (Ten Speed Press), Peru: The Cookbook by Gastón Acurio (Phaidon), and a forthcoming book by the Basque chef Juan Marí Arzak, his first in English.
