Food writer Mallika Basu grew up enjoying exotic flavours from across India in an unconventional, bustling home in Kolkata – and then spent years recreating them in her London kitchen. A home cook and author of two cookery books, Miss Masala (2010) and Masala (2018), she is passionate about simplifying fabulous and authentic Indian food for busy kitchens. Mallika has featured on Madhur Jaffrey’s Curry Nation TV programme and Jamie Oliver’s FoodTube.
