Shelly Nuruzzaman

Scientist, mum of two and seasoned foodie: Shelly Nuruzzaman is an enviable multi-tasker. Inspired by the sights and sounds of her mother’s kitchen, she began cooking authentic Bangladeshi dishes at an early age. Her family moved to Britain in the 60s and, spurred by a love of food and a spot of entrepreneurial spirit, Shelly’s father opened a successful Bangladeshi restaurant. Today, Shelly can be found hosting cookery classes in Chiswick or perfecting her Bang Curry range which she sells online and at the Wholefoods Market stores across the UK. Shelly’s Bang Curry spice blends are also a regular and popular feature in Hello Fresh recipe boxes, a rapidly growing sector in the food industry.
