Willie Lebus has been involved in wine since the late 70s. He is entirely self taught, and passed his MW Practical in 1986. He originally had his own wine business importing wine exclusively from the USA and latterly Australia. He then teamed up with New world pioneer Geoffrey Roberts until he joined Bibendum in 1989 to help establish its trade to trade business.
Willie has worked with many of the UK’s top chefs and Restaurants trying to bring better wine to the end user. His passion for good food and wine from all over the world has spawned many interesting wine lists across the UK. Willie is a Director of Bibendum Wine and travels extensively throughout the world’s wine regions. He talks regularly about food and wine.
